Rise of Children’s Books with Self Publishing

September 09, 2019

My search for children’s books began when my son turned one. I came across amazingly beautiful, well-illustrated and well-narrated books. In the gamut of all these books, something still seemed amiss. None of the books were set in the Indian context. None of the books had illustrations that children from India could relate to.

This led me to ponder – why Indian publishers do not create books with the Indian set up. And hence, we at White Falcon Publishing started encouraging authors to publish children’s books with us where we could assist in creating illustrations as per our household, seasons, nature, etc.

Self publishing has helped in creating children’s books that wouldn’t have otherwise seen the light of the day as has been happening since past many years. We can proudly name our amazing children’s books –

Aru’s Balcony

Lost and Found

Likes and Dislikes

Betty and Bob’s Bug Buddies

The Roo of the Jungle

Curly goes Fishing

Jungle Trails

Chatur Shastri and Sir Toby

We have authors who are as young as eight years old who created the draft of the storybook which their parents helped them materialize solely because we have the facility to self publish.

Children’s books are one category of books that can be read by all in the family because the child in you never gets old. So don’t hesitate from jotting down the story you have been long waiting to pen. We will provide complete assistance in a cost-effective manner that can help your dream come true and also add value to the Indian children’s books genre.
